Carmel Woods is a general name of an area, now called "Little Switzerland" stretching from Haifa- east and south almost till the Arab village Faradis. During the years prior to the foundation of Israel, the beautiful forested area, where 13 Arab villages were located, served as a training site for the Hagana.
