An Arab village in upper Galilee, had been a base for Arab gangs, and a target for two raids of the Hagana. The raid on the village during the War of Independence, which was the greatest long-term operation to that point, indicated a significant stage in the development of the Hagana's intimidation ability. Today, kibbutz Sasa of Hashomer Hatzair stands were the village once stood.
