Bet Eshel does not exist anymore.
The kibbutz, located at the outskirts of Beer Sheba, was destroyed completely in the War of Independence.
Bet Eshel was one of the three settlements that had been founded in 1943.
It became a kibbutz of Hashomer Hatzair on the eastern border of Arab Beer Sheba.
As the hostilities began, the kibbutz, named after the biblical Eshel Abraham, was an isolated point, without military reinforcement or access to the Jewish center.
