Yoav Fortress
Yoav Fortress, the former Iraq- Suidan Police, nicknamed "The Monster On The Hill"- is now a museum and a memorial of Givati brigade.
Although conquered, eventually, in November 1948, by the 8th brigade under the command of Itzhak Sadeh, the scarred fortress symbolizes the insistence, self-sacrifice and valor of the Givati brigade in the War of Independence.
The brigade attacked the Police Fortress six times and lost many warriors.
