The neighborhoods of the city Giv'ataim (Borogov, Rambam hill, Coslovski hill) had been centers of Hagana's secret activities ever since the 1920's, especially in the fields of weapon manufacture and storing it in weapon caches (Slikim). A few facilities of IMI were active there, as well as two big Slikim.
